Established in 1971, TPCU has a history exceeding 50 years. Under the leadership of the chairmen of the board and the former presidents as well as the joint efforts of the faculty and students, the school is enjoying prosperity and prestige. Now, TPCU demonstrates itself as a university of excellence, comprising the College of Engineering, the College of Business and Management, and the College of Human Ecology.

     As the rapid advance of technology transforms the way we live, our faculty remain committed to ensuring our students possess the competencies that lead to lifelong success in work and life. TPCU is prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world, and I will abide by the principle of “Education Based on Love” as well as the motto of TPCU, “Truth, Virtue, and Beauty” Besides, I also stick to the teaching policy of maintaining the balance between techno-science and humanities, between pragmatism and theories.
